Michael Duffy is a PhD in solid mechanics and mechanical engineering who has expertise in behavior and failure analysis of structures and materials by utilizing scientific literature, scientific method, and mechanics testing techniques. Michael believes that communication between expert and client is key to a thorough investigation.

Michael is currently involved with the Society for Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering (SAMPE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and ASTM International. Currently, he is working towards becoming a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with the American Welding Society (AWS).

When he is not conducting forensic engineering investigations, Michael enjoys watching movies, so feel free to give him a recommendation.
