John is a P.E. in Mechanical Engineering who has expertise in mechanical design, construction, and in engineering and building codes. He believes that applying technical expertise to solve complex problems is essential in delivering practical, science based investigations for clients.

John has worked in heavy construction on the Northeast Boundary Tunnel (NEBT), as a research and development engineer, and in manufacturing. Currently he is working toward a fire and explosion investigation certification (CFEI).

John holds a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and a BS from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Additionally, he is a Walkway Auditor Certificate Holder (WACH), a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI).

When he is not working, John can be found working on his golf swing, fishing, or reading a book.
