Delaney Mitchell is an electrical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the petrochemical, oil & gas, and industrial energy sectors. His expertise includes electrical power distribution, equipment reliability, industrial automation, electrical safety, system design, operational readiness, and failure analysis. Throughout his career, he has supported complex onshore and offshore operations, major maintenance programs, capital projects, and business transformation initiatives.
Delaney specializes in electrical engineering analysis, failure investigations, and advisory services involving industrial electrical systems, equipment failures, industrial incidents, and complex infrastructure projects. He is known for presenting complex technical findings in a clear, objective, and structured manner for clients, legal teams, insurers, and industrial organizations.
In addition to his technical background, Delaney has led enterprise strategy, digital transformation, benchmarking, and business integration efforts. He has managed multidisciplinary teams and large-scale programs focused on asset performance, maintenance optimization, and data-driven decision-making, combining hands-on engineering experience with operational leadership and business insight.
Delaney holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also completed Stanford University’s Executive Leadership Program.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, supporting youth sports, and pursuing continuous learning. He is passionate about helping organizations improve reliability, operational performance, and decision-making while solving complex technical and business challenges.
