William's breadth of practical, hands-on experience applying engineering and scientific principles to solve real world problems is foundational to his current work in the field of forensic engineering.  William values the process of distilling complex electromechanical problems into simple, obtainable concepts for the benefit of his clients' understanding. 

Areas of proficiency include system definition, microelectronic/control/power system design, electrical modeling and simulation, failure modes and effects analysis, quality control, codes and standards evaluation, and root cause analysis of electromechanical failures.  He is a member of both IEEE and NAFI and has recently completed all of the requirements for certification as a fire and explosion investigator. 

William attended the University of Maryland where he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in systems engineering management.  His 30-year career included lead roles in electrical engineering, systems engineering, mechanical design, manufacturing operations, construction equipment operations, and residential/light commercial construction. 

Outside of work, William enjoys summer beach time with family at his home in Bethany Beach, DE and winter traveling to new ski destinations in search of deep powder
